Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ('Terms') are a legal agreement between you and Pradesham, covering your use of the website pradesham.in and related services. By accessing or using Pradesham, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Pradesham.

Pradesham is available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We verify your date of birth at signup, and accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 will be declined or removed.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information up to date. Pradesham may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

Pradesham is a directory, discovery, and booking-facilitation platform. We help customers find independent local businesses in Kerala and, where available, request bookings or services from them.

Pradesham is not itself the business providing the underlying service, such as plumbing, medical care, food, or any other service listed on the platform, and we are not a party to the transaction between a customer and a business.

We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, timeliness, or accuracy of any service, product, or listing provided by businesses on Pradesham, and we disclaim liability for the conduct of any business or customer using the platform, except as required by applicable law.

While we are not a party to these transactions, we are committed to reasonable moderation of listings that are clearly fraudulent, harmful, or otherwise violate these Terms.

Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of the information in their listings, including business name, contact details, address, location, photos, and description of services offered.

Listings must not contain false, misleading, illegal, defamatory, or infringing content. Pradesham may remove or edit listings that violate these standards, and may suspend accounts of business owners who repeatedly do so.

Customers may post reviews of businesses they have interacted with. You are solely responsible for the content of any review you post, including any text or photos.

Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. Pradesham may remove reviews that are illegal, defamatory, abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise violate these Terms, and may suspend the accounts of users who repeatedly post such content.

Pradesham allows customers to submit booking or service requests to businesses listed on the platform. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a business will accept it, respond, or complete the requested service.

Any agreement to provide a service, including its price, timing, and quality, is between the customer and the business directly. Pradesham is not responsible for disputes arising from that agreement, though we may assist in good faith where possible.

Online payments for bookings and subscriptions are not yet active on Pradesham. This feature is planned for a future date and is not currently available.

When online payments are introduced, they will be processed through a third-party, RBI-authorised payment gateway. Pradesham does not and will not store your card numbers, UPI credentials, or other full payment details on its own systems; such details will be handled directly by the authorised payment gateway.

The Pradesham name, logo, website design, and underlying software are the property of Pradesham and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.

By posting content on Pradesham, such as listings, photos, or reviews, you grant Pradesham a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and use that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. You retain ownership of the content you post.

You agree not to: post false, misleading, defamatory, or illegal content; impersonate any person or business; attempt to gain unauthorised access to Pradesham's systems or other users' accounts; scrape or harvest data from the platform without permission; use Pradesham to harass, defraud, or harm others; or otherwise misuse the platform in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Pradesham may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including content removal, account suspension, or termination.

Pradesham is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the platform or any listing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pradesham and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from any transaction, service, or interaction between customers and businesses listed on Pradesham.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

You may stop using Pradesham and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us as described in this document and in our Privacy Policy.

Pradesham may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or otherwise pose a risk to the platform or its users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Pradesham shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kozhikode, Kerala, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time as our services, legal obligations, or operating status change. When we do, we will update the 'last updated' date at the top of this page and highlight material changes on the site.

Your continued use of Pradesham after any update to these Terms means you accept the updated Terms.
